Daniel Martínez-Valle

Operating Partner, Advent International

Daniel is a transformational global business executive. As an operating partner with Advent International he assists the firm in sourcing and growing the firm’s investment in the industrial sector, focusing on innovation and sustainability. He also acts as an advisor to start-ups in Silicon Valley and multi-billion global corporations.

From 2018 through 2021, Daniel served as CEO of Orbia ($7 billion in sales with 22,000 
employees in 110 countries). During his tenure, he bolstered Orbia's position as a leading specialty products company by revamping the organizational structure, rebranding the company, and advancing its businesses, including the 2018 acquisition of Netafim, the global leader in precision irrigation.

Before his role at Orbia, Daniel served as director of worldwide strategy & planning at Cisco and served as managing partner at Nebli Capital Advisors, a private equity and investment advisory firm based in Spain.

Daniel has an MBA from the Stanford University Graduate School of Business and a bachelor's degree in Economics from the ITAM, where he is a lecturer. He is a Fellow at the Tällberg Foundation and a Responsible Leader at the BMW Foundation Network.
