Chi Offomah

Program Lead

A catalyst and storyteller, Chi has spent the last eight years inspiring and coordinating action in mission-based teams among corporate, institutional, and community organizations.

As Program Lead, she is focused on supporting the growth and development of the U.S. portfolio. That translates to working alongside her team to infuse a two-generational approach to how we design around issues of health equity, child welfare, financial inclusion and more.

Prior to joining IDEO.org, she led and built a portfolio of business and partnership opportunities and programs for IDEO’s open innovation practice team, OpenIDEO. From winning and co-leading a multi-year health program with Sanofi Genzyme & Regeneron focused on scaling patient-centered solutions to co-designing an open innovation Prize focused on the future of our global food system with Rockefeller Foundation, Chi has helped launch over 10 innovation programs. Before joining the IDEO family, she worked in the nonprofit sector to raise both institutional and individual philanthropic funds for organizations like Code for America and FairTrade USA.

Chi holds a Bachelor’s in Public Health from the University of Arizona and a wealth of experience in community organizing around women’s issues.
