Belinda Jivapong
Design Research Lead
As a Design Research Lead at IDEO.org, Belinda supports teams in conducting research that is rigorous, equity-oriented, and driven by people most impacted by the topic at hand.
Prior to IDEO.org, Belinda worked at the Behavioral Insights Team, where she used behavioral science to design, implement, and evaluate solutions to pressing policy issues. She directed the qualitative and design research portfolio, ensuring the rigorous application of research methods on projects globally. Belinda also worked for the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, where she helped a state health department with various health systems projects. Over the years, she’s worked on a range of topic areas, including sexual reproductive health, gender-based violence prevention, early childhood development, economic mobility, and labor.
Belinda holds a Master of Science in Public Health from Johns Hopkins and a BS in International Affairs from the Georgia Institute of Technology. In her spare time, you can find her searching for the best chocolate chip cookie recipe, getting excited by all the dogs in her vicinity, and finding any reason to be near a body of water.
