Jennifer Riel is a senior creative leader and advisor who has worked across industries and countries, helping organizations to build winning, sustainable, and human-centered strategies.

Most recently, she was Partner and Chief Operating Officer at IDEO, where she helped shape the firm’s long-term strategy and worked closely with clients to expand the possibilities of design thinking and creative problem solving.

Prior to IDEO, Jennifer spent more than a decade at the Rotman School of Management, collaborating with companies to build their strategic capabilities. She is the co-author of Creating Great Choices: A Leader's Guide to Integrative Thinking (Harvard Business Review Press), a Wall Street Journal bestseller and finalist for Canada’s National Business Book Award.
