Sharmeen is the Program Coordinator for IDEO.org’s Health practice, focused on building, and enacting systems and processes that enable the team to work at its full potential.
Prior to joining IDEO.org , Sharmeen worked as a Partnerships Lead for a food recovery startup where she connected donors to shelters and other organizations in need. She also identified trends and assessed the impact of 10 years of grants in the Bay Area working as a Research Analyst at the Northern California Grantmakers. Passionate about making healthcare universally accessible, she gained experience working with the Agha Khan Rural Support Program in Pakistan where she evaluated the impact of new medical initiatives on women in rural communities.
Sharmeen studied Public Policy and Political Science at the University of California, Berkeley. When not in the studio, she spends her time rock climbing, hunting down the best tea spots in SF, and day dreaming about puppies.
