As IDEO.org’s Senior Marketing Specialist, based in the Nairobi Studio, Lisa takes a lead role in the planning and execution of all marketing and communication needs related to brand awareness, events, social media, and public relations.

Prior to IDEO.org, Lisa worked as the Digital Marketing Executive at Crop Nutrition, an agriculture technology company that offers expert agricultural advice across Africa. She also worked as the Marketing Brand Ambassador at SHK Consulting, a niche marketing consultancy responsible for iconic campaigns across East Africa. Lisa’s marketing roots stem from her period at DHL Express Kenya as the company’s Marketing Coordinator. Before delving into marketing, she worked as a business journalist intern at Citizen TV.

Lisa graduated from the United States International University – Africa (USIU-A) with a Bachelor’s in Journalism and Marketing & Public Relations. An artist at heart, she loves meditating, listening to soul music or a podcast, watching Netflix, candle-making, and — of course — savoring a cappuccino.
