Senior Design Lead
Daniel is a Senior Design Lead for Health XO program. He designs experiences that inspire young people and create new opportunities for their futures through access to sexual and reproductive health information and services. Bringing together his background in anthropology, innovation, and the performing arts, Daniel’s work lives at the intersection of design research, service design, and creative storytelling.
Prior to IDEO.org, Daniel was a Design Strategist at Continuum, where he designed new services and customer experiences. His work has ranged from Medicare redesign, to university curriculum innovation, to the future of pizza. Daniel helped launch a design thinking program at MIT Sloan School of Management, and his writing on innovation has appeared in Harvard Business Review and Fast Company. As a Research Associate in Anthropology at the Watson Institute for International Studies, Daniel led a research team focused on youth social enterprise in Latin America.
Daniel holds an MBA from Stanford Graduate School of Business and a BA with honors in Performance Studies from Brown University. He is a writer, dancer, and yogi, often found on a hike in Marin, a coffee shop in San Francisco, or collecting clams on the shores of his native Cape Cod Bay.
