As an Executive Assistant at IDEO.org New York, Cherelle provides support to the CEO and Global Leadership Team, coordinates executive outreach and external relations efforts, and serves as chief liaison to the IDEO.org Board of Directors.
Prior to IDEO.org, Cherelle developed trauma-focused behavioral plans for children with severe behavioral and emotional difficulties at the Children’s Aid Society, a nonprofit organization focused on helping children in poverty succeed and thrive. Before that, she wore many hats at Baruch College, including administrative assistant, academic advisor, psychology research lab assistant and recitation instructor. Cherelle is passionate about assessing the needs of others, gathering and synthesizing information, and strategizing proactive solutions.
Cherelle holds a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Baruch College and studied Applied and Evaluative Psychology at Hunter College. She usually has a flight booked, moonlights as a professional tarot card reader and loves discovering new rooftop venues in New York City.
