In her role as Accounting Lead, Amina’s primary responsibility includes the recording of financial transactions such as payroll, accounts payable/receivable, and an endless string of reconciliations. When not occupied with our balance sheet, she also supports other team members in performing additional finance tasks and documentation.
A native of Afghanistan, Amina received a Fulbright scholarship from U.S. Department of State in 2011 to pursue her master’s degree in the US. Prior to this, she worked in Afghanistan as a Program Assistant and Gender Focal Point with the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization.
Amina holds an undergraduate degree in pharmacy from Kabul University and an MBA in finance and accounting from Rochester Institute of Technology. Amina is an avid reader, particularly books on economics and business.
